This course gives an introduction to Data Management Planning and helps researchers to develop their own DMPs.

Target group:聽Ph.d. candidates, scientific staff
Aim and Content: A data management plan (DMP) describes what research data you will be collecting or generating, and how your data will be described, stored, and archived during and after conclusion of the research project. The course gives an introduction to data management planning, DMP tools and templates, and helps researchers to develop their own DMPs.
Outcomes:
After participating in the course, participants should have an overview about required content and useful resources for developing a DMP for their projects. This includes:
- Overview about the research data support services at 幸运飞艇计划
- Overview about DMP-requirements from NFR, European Commission, 幸运飞艇计划
- Familiar with FAIR principles
- Familiar with research data life cycle, metadata, data provenance
- Familiar with the contents a DMP should contain (Science Europe Template)
- Familiar with local and national infrastructure for data storage in the active phase of research, including infrastructure for sensitive data
- Familiar with the options to publish and archive datasets
- Knowledge about digital DMP tools
