Use Oria to search the library's print and electronic collections
Oria is the library search engine, which can be used to find literature and check if it is available in our collection. Check our help pages for guidance on how to search and request documents in Oria.听Can鈥檛 find what you need?听. Through Oria you have access to a great amount of e-books. Here you can read more about how to use these e-books.
Oria also contains a searchable of important databases within each subject. Below is an additional list of some useful interdisciplinary resources.
Interdisciplinary databases:
:听Contains a large number of digital books and other material, such as newspapers and journals. Anyone accessing the database from a Norwegian IP-address will automatically get free access to books, newspapers, magazines and pictures published in Norway before 2001.听
For editions from 2001 and onwards, different rules apply:
- Academic employees can access materials directly by logging in with their
- Students and administrative employees must log in with their FEIDE username

Please notice: From 1 February 2025, textbooks for higher education and profession-specific non-fiction published in the last 20 years will be excluded from digital access. See (in Norwegian only).
PressReader delivers the world's leading newspapers and magazines to you in their original layout and pagination. Issues published within the last 5-6 years are available. The service can be accessed via Oria (link above), where you may be asked to log in (EZproxy); alternatively, if you are connected to the , you can download the .
听Digital platform from the publisher , which gives access to full text articles and open access academic books. More than 70 journals and professional/trade magazines are available. Site available in English.听
听Online dictionary. Norwegian-English/English-Norwegian, and also Norwegian to German, French, Spanish and Italian.听
offers archive searches in over 300 Norwegian newspapers, and are for research purposes and studying. Automatic downloads are not permitted. Several papers have a seven day embargo, but the title and introduction is searchable from the publication date. Atekst charges 幸运飞艇计划 10 NOK for every article that is read, so for daily newspaper reading we suggest using PressReader instead.
