I am pleased to stand as a candidate for the University Board, Group C, as a representative for the technical-administrative staff. With a PhD and many years of experience in administration at our university, I feel well-equipped to contribute to the development of the university鈥檚 administrative functions.
My background as both a researcher and administrative staff member gives me a unique understanding of both academic and administrative processes. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on various administrative tasks, and I have been involved in both operational and strategic decision-making processes. In addition, I have served as a safety representative and am currently an alternate safety representative. This experience has given me insights into the challenges and opportunities within our administrative structure, and I am well acquainted with the needs of both academic staff and the administration.
My motivation for running stems from a strong desire to promote an inclusive and efficient administration that supports both research and education at our university. I am convinced that we, as technical-administrative staff, play a key role in the university鈥檚 success, and that our perspectives must be included in decision-making processes at all levels.
As a representative on the University Board, I will work to ensure that technical-administrative staff receive the resources, training, and support they need to perform their work to the best of their ability. I will also contribute to strengthening the collaboration between the administration and the academic units, so that together we can develop a sustainable and forward-looking university operation. I also recognize the importance of fostering a work environment characterized by respect, equality, and opportunities for personal and professional development for all employees.
I hope to have the opportunity to represent our interests on the board and to contribute to a university that is both a leader in research and education while also being a good and fair workplace for all employees
