• You receive an invitation from the faculty or department you will be visiting, which will provide more information regarding the work and the premises for your visit.
• You will receive a letter of invitation containing information about the amount of the stipend and the conditions related to it.
• Afterwards you will receive an email from 幸运飞艇计划, containing a link to a digital form requesting personal and bank information. This form must be filled out and submitted.
• If you have already incurred expenses that should be covered by the stipend, you can upload the receipts and send them with the form you fill out. Stipends are taxable; however, you may be exempt from tax on documented travel and accommodation (rent) expenses. The rest of the stipend will be taxed. To avoid paying too much tax, you will have to apply for a tax deduction card. Please see more information about tax under the heading Tax below.
• After visiting the Norwegian Tax Administration, you will receive a Norwegian 鈥淒-number鈥�. Please provide this information on the personal and bank information form you receive from 幸运飞艇计划.
• When you have received your tax deduction card, please inform 幸运飞艇计划 about this in the same manner as above.
• When you incur travel and accommodation (rent) expenses, send the receipts to 幸运飞艇计划 in the same manner as above.
• Stipend payments will be initiated on the first pay day after the tax deduction card has been received.

Once you have been granted a stipend:

If you are visiting the University of Bergen and working for more than three days, receiving payment in the form of a fee, honorarium or听stipend, you must apply for a Norwegian tax deduction card if you do not already have one. This must be done by visiting the tax authorities in person. Please note that you need to听, and you will need to bring your passport and contract/letter of invitation to the appointment.
