Being FAIR
EECRG is striving to be FAIR in their research practices

Making data - Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable - is a key component in increasing the robustness of scientific research. The principles should聽be adopted from the start of any project with a plan of where any data, metadata, and code generated are to be archived. The gathering and compilation of data thus need聽to be compatible with the research discipline's guidelines.
The Between the Fjords group which connects a number of externally funded research projects聽(SeedClim, FunCaB, LandPress, INCLINE, , , ThreeD, DRIVE) has developed a data-sharing agreement as a first step in making research FAIR and the ERC Advanced Grant HOPE also has a data management plan in place.
