The聽Mohn Observatory was successfully recovered during the CDeepSea 2024 cruise.聽After exactly 1 year amid majestic hydrothermal chimneys and towering mountain walls the multi-sensors Mohn Observatory聽is now safely stored on deck of聽R/V G.O. Sars.During its time at 3050 meters depth the observatory聽has collected millions of geophysical datapoints.聽It will now go back to base for聽well deserved聽upgrade and sensor聽maintenance聽before it is ready for another deployment in the deep sea.
