From the centre of Bergen, take the Bybanen (light railway) to Birkelandskiftet and change to the number 53 bus, which leaves more or less frequently depending on the time of day and season.
The final stop, "Milde snuplass (Bergen)", is right next to the Botanic Garden; the last but one stop, "Fana Folkeh酶gskule", is the closest to the Arboretum.
Parking
There are 3 car parks, see map:

- At V氓geelva in the Botanical Garden
Use 惭颈濒诲别惫氓驳别苍 or V氓geelva when visiting the Botanical Garden (south west), and Dalsmyra or 惭颈濒诲别惫氓驳别苍 when visiting the Arboretum.
Driving in the gardens
Driving is as a rule not permitted in the gardens. For groups with special needs, old and disabled persons, passenger cars and mini buses may drive to Blondehuset. This must be booked in advance by telephoning: 55 58 72 50. Buses may drive up the hill to the crossing at Fana Folk High School (by appointment with the school) to allow passengers to get off the bus.
