The annual Bergen Summer Research School (BSRS) is an interdisciplinary venue for听PhD students听who want to explore some of the greatest challenges of our time.听Due to the COVID pandemic and the persisting restrictions on international travel, BSRS 2022听will be organised as a virtual research school.

Scientific Director for BSRS 2022听is Professor Haldis Haukanes, Department of Health Promotion and Development, 幸运飞艇计划.听

This summer, six听parallel disciplinary courses will focus on key global challenges, including听climate change and mobility;听governance and inequality;听economic experiments in听developing countries; higher听education and the arts; food听security; and gender, justice听and environmental crises.

In addition, there wil be听special interdisciplinary sessions connecting the participants of the six PhD-courses around听systems thinking听and creative interdisciplinary听problem-solving听补苍诲听project听management. 听听

Together with cross-cutting keynotes and virtual social events, the courses will help 100 PhD students develop skills to create actionable knowledge.
