The annual Bergen Summer Research School (BSRS) is an interdisciplinary venue for听PhD students who want to explore some of the greatest challenges of our time.听Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, BSRS 2021听will again be organised as a virtual research school.

Bergen, Norway, from 7-17听June, 2021

This summer, six听parallel disciplinary courses will focus on key global challenges, including听adolescent reproductive health,听迟丑别听internationalisation of higher education,听socio-economic inequality,听psychological and social science perspectives on climate change,听迟丑别听sustainable development of life below water, and听the听research, regulation and governance of corruption.听

In addition,听Birgit Kopainsky, Ingunn Johanne Ness听and听Hiwa M氓len听will lead special interdisciplinary sessions connecting the participants of the six PhD-courses around systems thinking and creative interdisciplinary problem-solving and听project听management. 听听

Together with cross-cutting keynotes and virtual social events, the courses will help 100 PhD students develop skills to create actionable knowledge.
