Kjersti Fl酶ttum with keynote speech on "Climate Stories" in Brussels
On 21st September 2021, Kjersti Fl酶ttum held a keynote speech at "Thinker's Cycle: The Language of Debate and Communication on Climate Change" at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts in Brussels.

Kjersti Fl酶ttum, head of the cross-disciplinary LINGCLIM research group and CLIMLIFE project, was invited by the听 to hold a keynote speech at ""听in Brussels, 21.09.2021. In her presentation "Climate stories 鈥� from science and politics to citizens鈥� opinions",听Fl酶ttum gave a short introduction of the cross-disciplinary research group LINGCLIM and the ongoing CLIMLIFE research project, before describing听various constructions of "climate stories"听in different genres, including personal stories in text answers to open-ended survey questions. The conference's other keynote听"The media climate: public communication about climate change in news and social media"听was held by Mike S. Sch盲fer (University of Zurich), who is part of the Scientific Advisory Comittee of the CLIMLIFE research project.
