Postdoctoral fellow and leader of the research group, Ingrid Margrethe Halvorsen Barlund, will be part of a government-appointed committee that will review and assess the Norwegian Act on Financial Supervision in order to propose a new act which takes better into consideration the developments in both the regulatory - and supervisory areas, and which provides a more solid framework for the tasks of the Norwegian supervisory authority of financial markets, 鈥淔inanstilsynet鈥�, also in the future. The deadline for the committee's work is end of 2022.聽
