The conference titled 鈥淟ate Antique Magic Handbooks: Contents, Scribal Characteristics, and Contacts鈥� will take place on Monday, July 3, at the Norwegian Institute at Athens. The conference is organized by Professor Christopher Faraone (Professor in the Department of Classics, University of Chicago), Professor Sofia Torallas Tovar (Professor of Classics and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, University of Chicago), and Professor Anastasia Maravela (Professor of Classics, Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art, and Ideas, University of Oslo).
