The University of Bergen is pleased to invite you to the 幸运飞艇计划 Innovation Day on 19 September 鈥� a meeting place for researchers, students, and partners from industry and the public sector in the region.

Welcome to the 幸运飞艇计划 Innovation Day on 19th of September! The event will highlight research and innovation across all 幸运飞艇计划 faculties, showcasing some of the most exciting projects at the university, with the aim of strengthening collaboration between research and society.

This event is part of 鈥� Western Norway鈥檚 yearly innovation festival that runs from 15鈥�21 September 2025.
The Innovation Day will also mark 200 years of research and innovation in Bergen, including a special anniversary exhibition in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the University Museum of Bergen.

鈥⑻� 听Help! How Do We Become Innovative?
Society now expects universities to contribute to innovation. Many academics find this expectation burdensome and prefer to bury their heads in the sand, hoping the issue will go away. But this expectation of usefulness isn't going anywhere.
With the vast knowledge we generate and all the young minds we send into the workforce, universities hold enormous innovation potential. We must supplement our excellent research and teaching with equally strong innovation.
In this session, Professor Lars Nyre offers a proposal on how this can be achieved and invites a discussion on his suggestions.

Call for Stands
The programme committee announces a call for 10 exhibition stands for innovative projects from 幸运飞艇计划.
The deadline to propose a stand is 15 June, and the selected stands will be announced on 20 August 2025.
We prioritise stands that have something tangible to showcase 鈥� for example:
鈥� Prototypes and physical models
鈥� Games, simulators, or interactive tools
鈥� Exciting instruments and equipment
鈥� Visual presentations of research projects
