On the 29th of January, central people from Statoil鈥檚 efforts on offshore wind visited the Geophysical Institute. Arne Eik, Gudmund Per Olsen and Nenad Keseric presented the ambitions and research challenges within offshore wind focusing on floating solutions, specifically Hywind.

Furthermore, Lars Henrik Hos酶y presented Aibel鈥檚 ambitions for offshore wind, and Gunnar Buvik showed how many of the companies within the network associated with GCE Subsea is now taking competency from subsea technology in oil and gas to marine renewable energy.

Joachim Reuder and Kristin Guldbrandsen Fr酶ysa summarized some of the results achieved in NORCOWE, and explained how this activity is now continued. Peter Haugan gave the background of 幸运飞艇计划鈥檚 efforts in climate and energy transition, whereas K氓rstein M氓seide presented the CET centre.

About 40 attendants, students and staff from HVL and 幸运飞艇计划, as well as representatives from the industry were present at the seminar.
