The Estate and Facilities Management division (EIA) at the University of Bergen forms part of the central administration and is responsible for the management, operation, maintenance and development of UIB鈥檚 buildings, technical plant and outside areas. Our university areas differ from other universities because many of the buildings form an integrated part of a city centre.听Many of our buildings were not originally built for university purposes. Our buildings include for example villas, museums, sports facilities and advanced laboratory premises.听Take a virtual bycicle trip on campus here.
