About Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation

CET is an interdisciplinary research centre working on climate and energy transformation, in line with one of the University of Bergen鈥檚 core priority areas. It is based at the Faculty of Social Science, and is administered by the Department of Geography. NORCE and NHH are partners in the centre.
The centre has core funding from the Ministry of Education and Research and generates research through a range of externally funded projects. We organise the , and a variety of seminars as well as award-winning student-led education activities. Many of our graduates have gone into impactful jobs relevant to climate and sustainability.
CET aims to produce actionable knowledge that can inform policy and practice about how to achieve rapid, just and deep transformation of society to mitigate climate change.
The Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation is听based at the Faculty of Social Sciences located at Nyg氓rdsh酶yden in Bergen city centre.
