Declaration on "Pandemic, diversity and social inequality" (18.04.2023)
During the conference on "Pandemic, diversity and social inequality" in Bergen in October, researchers started working on a declaration based on knowledge and experiences from the pandemic. The declaration has now been published and is open to read.

Funding from the Research Council for project on Life and Work in Balance (28.02.2023)
Associate Professor Melanie Hack, who is a member of the research group for European law, receives 9.9 million Norwegian kroner in funding over four years for the project "Life and Work in Balance: Legal responses to working life in times of change and crisis (LaW-BALANCE)".

Professor Halvard Haukeland Fredriksen is appointed leader of expert group revising the Norwegian public procurement rules (28.02.2023)
The government intends to revise the regulations for public procurement and has established an expert group for this purpose. Professor Halvard Haukeland Fredriksen will be the head of this expert group.

Wake effects within the Horns Rev wind Farm

Wind energy has a very high potential for improvement, especially with regard to wake effects of the turbines within large wind farms. This work focuses the emphasis on potential of aerodynamically optimized wind park layouts and wake steering through yaw angle control.

The Faculty of Law receives around NOK 21 million from the Research Council of Norway to establish the CENTENOL-centre. The center will strengthen knowledge of the relationship between European and Norwegian law.
